This rare portfolio showcases costumes Picasso designed for “Le Tricorne” (the three cornered hat). The lively figures are colored in pochoir (one is black and white) and demonstrate the artist’s ease in depicting fanciful costumes inspired by folkloric dress. Published in 1920 by Editions Paul Rosenberg. 31 plates in color and one in black and white.
